Live music in a mahoosive marquee
WOLVESFEST 2017
After months of planning, next month sees the big event in the
RGG
calendar - The 3rd Annual
Wolvesfest
at Wolverhampton RUFC.
This year we have some fantastic local acts strutting their stuff over two
stages. On the main stage, joint headliners
The Boston Shakers
(Unsigned band of the year 2016)
&
The Assist (BBC Introducing)
are both
guaranteed to get the place jumping. We have some fabulous rockabilly from
Harry & The Howlers
, superb beatboxing from rising Birmingham sensation
Ed Geater
, rather
infectious rock from
Buzzard
, some cool sounds from
Danni G
and her band plus
Wolfslang
playing delicious indie pop. Over on the acoustic stage we have another 8 acts playing everything
known to man! Please see the main advert on page 20.
The Rhythm Dogs
will close the event
with some superb covers that I guarantee will fill the dance floor.
The side bar area comfortably holds 300 and has a 60 foot long bar providing local real ales, ciders
plus all the usual falling down beverages at pub prices. The main marquee is mahoosive (1,000
capacity), fully waterproofed - so no need for wellies at this event - and has a solid carpeted floor
with the main stage sound and lighting provided by Cannock’s finest -

There is ample parking, but we are on a main bus route (43) or if yam posh you can get a taxi for
about a fiver from the City centre. Families are most welcome and for accompanied under 16’s,
entry is free of charge. Alongside the fabulous food stalls we have adult inflatables including
inflatable Lazer Quest and un-climbable walls. There are outside drinking and smoking areas
where you can chill with your friends or family and with a bit of luck we will get the weather to
make it even more special. Early Bird tickets are still available at only £10 against a door price of
