Alex Ohm returns with BBC Introducing 'Presents' show and new single.

18 months have passed since Ohm's last release but now he is set to start 2020 the way he means to go on. March 6th see's Alex and his band headline Wolverhampton's Newhampton Arts Centre as part of a BBC Introducing West Midlands 'Presents' night in association with Birmingham Promoters, to promote his upcoming release 'Going Nowhere Fast'.

Alex and his new band have been busy working behind the scenes. You'd be forgiven for thinking that he was having some time off but that's where you'd be very wrong! Over the last l 8 months, Alex has won the inaugural Pirate 'Prodigy' competition, beating over 2000 entrants; has played numerous festivals all over the country such as: The Isle of Wigh( Truck Fes( Y Not as well as Tramlines and opened shows for the likes of Paul Draper (MansunL Barry Hyde (FutureheadsL Nie Cester Uet) and Johnny Lloyd (Tribes).

At the beginning of 2019, Alex and his band
began to record new material at Pirate Studios in London and have recently mixed those recordings at RML studios in their hometown of Wolverhampton. 'Going nowhere fast' is Alex's first single since 'Fractures (Little Wonder)' and is set to be the first release from an EP that is due later in the year.

Speaking of the upcoming date Ohm enthused, "We can't wait for the New Year! We have been sitting on some of our best work to date which the band and I can't wait to share with the world. We feel massively privileged to be kicking it off at the Newhampton Arts centre with the BBC and Birmingham Promoters. This is going to be one for people to remember!

Limited edition CD copies of the track along with new merch will be available at the show.
