Tonk and drummer Karl Selickis; they've already
created themselves a strong credible reputation
on the live gig circuit and 2017 is looking to be a
rather productive year for them what with
forthcoming festival appearances such as
Wildfire festival. So what do they sound like?
Well, they clearly have themselves an instant
pure class A professional rock band template on
the go from the first listen. The type of feel that
you get with established greats such as Led
Zeppelin or The Who but one way in which they
tend to differ from said bands is through their
choice of guitar riffs. Some of their tunes such
as 'City Lights' for example - which is a superb
exhilarating rock n roll song - has moments that
The Midlands music scene may well be smelling
of roses again thanks to the blossoming success
of a three piece rock n roll fueled band known
as The Bad Flowers. Since their formation in
2014 they've already had some experience
touring in Europe; supported the likes of Crobot,
The Sheepdogs, The Sonics and have no
intention on pushing up the daises as they're
busy writing their debut album for 2017 to please
a growing fan base. This month RGG will
analyse this sexy new band seeded with rock
goodness.
