with their live set that he asked them to write a
track so it could be used on a special video to
promote his father’s Ram Run venture. An
excited Pelugion spent 3 days working with
Mike at Wormwood Studios whilst he
produced their own specially written song
“Bide My Time”.
Mike told the band that he really enjoyed
working with them and would produce their
first album - for free - if they were able to raise
the funds that would cover the recording studio
costs. More amazingly during the recording of
“Bide My Time”, well known producer Russ
Russell was visiting the studios and had a
chance to sit in on the session and to quote
him.. “Bide My Time is more Sabbath than
Sabbath”. Pelugion released “Bide My Time”
on the 25th March 2016 to rave Reviews and
are are currently trying to raise the funds
needed to cover the Studio recording costs for
Mike Exeter to produce their debut album.
In August 2016 Mike Exeter again contacted
the band offering to Produce/Record their 2nd
single MONSTER which should be finished for
release before Xmas.
Pelugion are a 3 piece band with big
ambitions to replace The Enemy as Coventry's
next premier band. As metal/rock band who
met whilst studying music at City College
Coventry, they have been heavily
influenced by Black Sabbath, Metallica and
Megadeth, and started off playing their Hero’s
covers.
After leaving College in 2014 they wrote a
number of their own dynamic songs and played
numerous local gigs to gain experience.
Positive fan feedback from these gigs gave
them the necessary confidence to enter and
win through a number of rounds to play the
opening night at the 2015 Godiva Festival
(UK’s largest free festival attracting over 300k
each year) and also reached the Final in
Birmingham’s prestigious Metal To The Masses
(July 2015 & 2016).
Great as the above success was, the most
amazing thing for Pelugion so far was working
with the famous Mike Exeter the renowned
producer/engineer of Black Sabbath/Judas
Priest/Dio/UB40/The Specials and Tony Iommi.
Mike spotted Pelugion playing at Scruffy
Murphy’s in July 2015 and was so impressed
