Verdict:
Rock indie band The Rimes release on YouTube the music
video for their single 'Avalanche'. This impressive looking piece was
released on September 28th, filmed by the company FiftySevenStudios
and shot entirely in France. It's their most epic release yet and visually
makes a massive impact. The Rimes are looking to be one of
Wolverhampton's new music success stories and racking up a lot of media. Do check them out
and go to their website to catch them live in concert.

Verdict:
Horror punk n' roll masters from Birmingham
Thirteen Shots have a high energy album out titled 'Black
Smiles'. It features their single 'Night Of Sin' and if you want something a little bit fun
with more bloodier teeth than a monster swallowing a chainsaw then this is worth a
stab. Highlights are 'Interlude' which is a creepy acoustic and quite deep
horror-show fuelled ditty, the gritty sounding 'Black Eyed Girl' with it's bizarre
shock reggae-punk feel, 'Lost Soul' which in places comes across like a darker
surf rock version of a famous Eagles song with it's beautiful guitar parts and then
there's the unforgettable spectacular 'Friday 13th' which is just a pure in your face
self aware punk tune dedicated to that special day. Please give this album your
time and play it very loud.

Verdict:
The single 'Side Effects' from Stoke On Trent based
four-piece band Exowaves is released on iTunes on October 6th and
it's a very stunning debut indeed. Much harder hitting than the majority of tunes written in the
vain of Biffy Clyro and The Jesus And Mary Chain; there's something very good and honest
here. From first listen you get the general impression that, although it's quality work, this is
just a taster of bigger things to come. A futuristic edgier version of Primal Scream with slight
echoes of The Doors, reeking of pure rock n' roll and more meat than a David Cameron hashtag.
This could prove to be very popular with the NME munch bunch.
