Verdict:
Fucking brilliant. An album filled with massive range; a
mix of hook grooves and tunes with sounds reminiscent of some of the great heroes of
rock. SOLEY MOURNING have taken a modern approach to classic rock with this their
forth album, they have their own sound but have skillfully captured that all familiar sta-
dium rock feel and it doesn't get boring. The Rocket Pool is a keeper. Real depth, soul
and proper character here; you feel like you want to invite the band to your house by
their fifth track "Gumstream". Songs that actually sound like they mean something,
"Turn yourself around" is catchy as hell and some of the lyrics on this album are truly a
joy to hear sung, especially "The Unmaking Of A Rational Mind".
This deserves to do very well.

Verdict:
Ballsy release from Kidderminster band TOTM which
stamps its authority starting from track 1. Their most professional and commercial offer-
ing to date; years of slogging away on the gig circuit has developed their sound consid-
erably and this record shows what great musicians they are. Love songs with raw atti-
tude filled with great guitar riffs. One of the best CD's I've had sent in. Title track and
"Another Level" are highlights for me. For fans of YOUME AT SIX and ENTER SHIKARI.
