Wolverhampton City Council are pleased to announce a
brand new one-day acoustic music festival; Banstock.
Held in the gardens on the beautiful Bantock House Museum, this year’s event
sees an emphasis on local talent, being headlined by Wolverhampton’s own Ivor
Novello award-winning songwriter, Scott Matthews.
Other acts include Birmingham’s legendary post-punk skiffle outfit,
Terry & Gerry playing their first gig in Wolverhampton since their
recent Civic Hall support of Status Quo.
Former frontman of The Lines, Alex Ohm will also be making an
appearance, fresh from his sell-out show at Birmingham’s Institute.
With his former band, Alex’s local support was such that he played several
sell out shows at the Wulfrun Hall and we are delighted to be
including his solo project as part of the first Banstock.
Many more exciting acts will be added over the coming weeks.
The event will be a family friendly garden party at a family friendly ticket price.
Early bird tickets are just £9.99 until 6th June!
