Ever since the announcement of Kill Your Television Festival earlier this
year the band have kept details about the event very close to their chests
up until now!
We can now reveal the rest of the bill for the inaugural KYTV Festival at
Wolverhampton’s beloved Civic Hall on its final Saturday night before it
closes for refurbishment and we can also herald the one night only return
of the Midlands biggest and best Indie Club Night
The Wedding Present will be very special guests which delights the Neds
who have for some time wanted to a play a live show in the Midlands
with a band who were already building the foundations for a flourishing
indie scene when Neds were first formed
Around the same time that members of Neds were getting acquainted a
certain Coventry band called The Primitives were topping the charts with
their huge hit ‘Crash’ Having inspired young snotty indie students back
in the late s The Primitives are still a force to be reckoned with today
and a very welcome local addition to the bill
When Neds landed their very first proper nationwide support tour with
The Wonder Stuff back in
the main support were an exquisitely
unique band called Eat The two bands became good friends and all
these years later they are looking forward to sharing a stage again
not least because Malc Treece (former guitarist of The Wonder
Stuff) has joined the line up of Eat
