June at Wolverhampton RUFC in the Marquee

room for them to strut their stuff on the main

Mistrusted began in Wolverhampton in early
when Ken Sutera and Ed Morton began
rehearsing together and quickly found that
between them they had no shortage of music
and song concepts Enthused by this new
found creativity they quickly added Kal Bahia
to their ranks as drummer/percussionist
Songs began to pour out of this new trio very
quickly and they started tentative gigging
shortly thereafter It soon became obvious that
these songs started to split away dynamically
from each other into roughly two categories
An acoustic type group with traces of folk
music and reflective poignant subject matter
and an altogether harder more aggressive elec
tric type of rock music with a keen ear for
grunge punk and hard rock styles Aligned
with this creative outpouring is a distinctly
original and disarmingly lyrical style part
naïveté part hard learned truth which
seemingly infuses Mistrusted's material with
an added sense of realism and drama despite
the seemingly unlimited range of issues they
choose to address in their songs
