The whole experience was a learning experience for us and armed the band with techniques and information to use throughout pre-production of the record, helping us craft a much more commercial song than our previous offerings. Following a comprehensive mix from Trevor, who worked closely with the band to get a sound we were happy with, we then worked with Zak Zikis, who not only has great ears and mastered the track to perfection for multiple formats, he also helped the band move forward with more technical aspects of recorded music admin.” Poison Remedy is My Great Affliction’s first release since their 2013 double single release “Good Times to Come” and “Sick and Tired”.The new track encapsulates the bands renewed vigor and enthusiasm following trials and challenges in their personal and musical lives.
