Her EP, Heartbreak Songs, reached No. 3 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart, receiving numerous plays on BBC Introducing across the Midlands. The title track, Heartbreak Song, was played on JeremyVine’s BBC Radio 2 show after he spotted her busking in London. She was then invited to play two original songs live on the show in October 2018.Vine described Lucy as "just brilliant" on the show which was listened to by more than 7 million people. Lucy May has sold out headline shows across the UK and has supported the likes of The Dunwells, Lucy Spraggan, Hue and Cry andWetWetWet.
