Ryan's Gig Guide - March 2019

Thursday 28th March The Edge, Digbeth  Birmingham composer and performer Rosie Tee will be putting on an ambi- tious EP launch show that promises to be an exciting immersive experience. Experimental theatre group L Y N N E B E C will open the event with a site-specific premiere that visualises the sentiments of Chambers EP through performance. Dy- namic, botanical visuals will accompany Rosie’s band of synths, glockenspiel, bass, per- cussion & electronics. Along- side mixologists creating floral cocktails, merchandise will be screen-printed live by design- er & printmaker Substr8. The Chambers EP is five orig- inal songs intuitively pieced together. Each track perfectly balances out the ebb & flow of Rosie’s wandering, dream-like vocals alongside the sporadic movements of her jazz-infused, alternative pop sound. The dy- namic, electron- ic production by multi-dis- ciplinary artist Dan Cippico, embosses Rosie’s scattered harmonies and abstract re- frains whilst highlighting her rare and contemporary ap- proach to songwriting. The EP will be available online on all platforms 29th March.  www.rosietee.uk R O S I E T E E Check out Rosie Tee in our Spotify playlist www.ryansgigguide.com/ a udio  ONLINE EDITION www.ryansgigguide.com 42 rgg Mar 2019
