Brilliant local punk/grunge band Vertigo Violet are on a bit of a roll in 2018 after playing loads of gigs all over the UK. Most recently supporting Louise Distras at the Castle & Falcon , their next outing sees them performing at the relatively new Paradiddles Café Music Bar in Worcester on Friday 4th May and Katie Fitzgerald’s in Stourbridge on the 5th . Then July sees them join a crack- ing line-up at Scruffy Murphy’s in Birm- ingham on Saturday 28th July with Dream Nails & Killer BOB. VERTIGO VIOLET www.surgemusic.com LOCAL Birmingham band The Bank Accounts led by Benjamin Kane, are somehow simul- taneously whimsical, surreal and fabulous and are playing at Kaleidoscope, a free “night of music & art” at The Night Owl in Digbeth on Thursday 3rd May along with Gorillabot and The Nature Cen- tre .
