Some top class tunes littered throughout this release, 'Internet Superstar' poking fun at the politics of modern social media, opener 'Kamikaze' which is a arguably a modern day 'Ace Of Spades' and I mean that with the high- est of respect as it's just truly powerful. 'Under The Tree' is one of the many acoustic tracks on here and perhaps one of their best; filled with formidable melodies and the overall catchiness is insane. Heavy praise must go to bass instrumental 'Isaiah 53' for it's naked boldness and paying homage to 'Orion' by Metallica. Other highlights include the epic earth shattering 'Another Chain', the convivial feel good hard rock anthem 'Step It Up' and the energetic and out there 'Frustration'. Tremendous song writing; if you're new to Buzzard then I heavily recommend them for fans of legendary bands such as Budgie or Mo- torhead. The long awaited debut by Birmingham four piece rock band This Elegant Chaos does not disappoint; imagine Coal Chamber and Garbage had a gothic baby. Lets begin with opening track 'No Way Home' which has one of the best intros a rock album could wish for and dives in to what can only be described as sheer song writing joy; an amalgamation of dynamics, well exe- cuted rock and incredibly performed; there is nothing I would change; why improve perfection? Highlights include title track 'House Of Destruction', mega- phone friendly 'Hello F**kYou Goodbye' and the at- titude of 'Sick' is spot on. Over the years TEC have been building up to this release and the finished album is exactly what everyone following them has fantasied about.There's eleven very strong songs on here to enjoy; a gentle nod to the hard rock and metal music of the 1990s but also a great example of modern Midlands music.
