Ryan's Gig Guide - December 2018

Having witnessed Bose putting on stunning performances as part of Birmingham band Mondo Royale I couldn’t wait to listen to her new solo EP and I can tell you that it is a superbly crafted piece of work! Opening track "There Goes" is a dreamy, classic song which sounds like it could have been made in any of the last 5 decades. "Your Love" follows, with a reggae sound evoking a sense of summer even on the cold grey November day when I'm listening to it! "Oyari" has a fantasticAfrican vibe and "Fine Boy" is a really cool almost Euro-pop track. My highlight is the beautiful final track "Pain Go” where Bose bears her soul in a vunerable vocal accompanied by piano. Bose has performed on world stages in a career that spans over two decades.
