With a sublime combination of vo- cals & electric guitar, Bryde switches from quiet melancholia reminiscent of Tori Amos to full-on heavy indie riffs of which, PJ Harvey would no doubt be proud, leav- ing you breathless. Support comes from Charlotte Carpenter & Jessie Reid. BRYDE Chester based band Peaness (get it?) produce dreamy indie-pop that feels like a summer holiday in the 80s and are a delight to listen to. I defy even the most miserable of gig-goers not to smile while listening to their songs! Their drummer Rachel is originally from Dudley so get down to support a local!
