Verdict:
Two tracks from Wolverhampton based female fronted rock outfit THIS ELEGANT CHAOS A
noticeably heavier and more in your face release than previous offerings 'Hello Fuck You Goodbye' is as
gritty as an ALICE IN CHAINS song from 'Dirt' but more L in attitude It's obviously not aimed at Radio One
but it's damn hot and I think a lot of alternative rock stations will enjoy playing it; well the ones that allow
airplay of tracks with swear words for song titles I'm making this my CD of the month mainly because I've
played it back so many times I can't fault it and I believe in the strength of this release Sister A side 'Bloodlust'
matches the other single with power in a vampire friendly dark rock anthem which might I add is ideal for
radio stations When you hear a British band like this churn out top class material then it should sound alarm
bells for other acts out there to really raise their game and make every song count Every song should sound
like a perfect representation of your band TEC do this very well

Verdict:
Six track EP from Black Country rockers DEVIL RED Opening track 'Cyanide Friend' is an infectious
opener and fine quality example of this band's overall sound modern rock with guitar hooks confident
identity and groove However when I began listening to second track 'Monster' I wasn't convinced of this as
immediately I thought it sounded dated compared to the opener but after playing the CD back to back I
ranked it highest; just a stronger sounding tune Vocalist GRANT SILK is a truly terrific singer and really
stamps his mark on this record I’m not sure why but at times his singing style reminds me of the CRASH
TEST DUMMIES front man BRAD ROBERTS Although I enjoyed listening my one suggestion for this band
is to next time create shorter tunes and master the three minutes of output sometimes less is more Highlight
for me was "A Gathering Of Crows" This band can get to the top faster with three minute songs for radio
and just continuing to work hard and wow people as they are already doing 'Invictus' is a good taster EP to
get you into the band It's a record that rocks and I'm giving it thumbs up but I'm expecting future releases
to exceed this as they are more than capable of making a hit
