Verdict: Good music is where you find it and this little gem may not tick all the boxes for top
production amazing compression or stunning recording quality but it reeks of feeling This I dis
covered on Twitter of all places A chap named Morgaen Gleave who after I contacted him I was
to later discover that he’d only recently started creating tunes and could be seen by some as a
late starter but what he captures here is real genuine art On his soundcloud he has a tune called
‘Mixed Signals Demo’ and although we could all question why I’ve chosen this song or insisted
this man get slapped into print I feel totally justified in doing so He needs a little direction point
ers guidance etc but this could be the start of something wonderful I would love to hear about
this man expanding what he is doing which currently consists of ukulele mouthorgan and vocals
recorded live via home recording It's never to late to create

Verdict: Cracking debut single from Dudley piece THE VECTORS A female fronted alterna
tive band from Dudley with a really big and incredible sound ‘The Lie’ is their first offering and
it’s a really bouncy sounding tune I’ve seen these guys play live and this is one of the ones that
stuck out to me most in their set Catchy with some beautiful guitar moments both guitarists in
this band are very creative and this track demonstrates that very well ‘The Lie’ ends with some
real action and it’s fast paced tune anyway Yeah I like this a lot It's very commercial sounding
but with some real meaty balls in places

Verdict: This is a high octave B movie horror inspired up tempo road trip of a tune from the
awesome garage rock and roll band TH RT EN SHOTS who hail from Birmingham The single
'First American Sweetheart' is inspired by the romance of the silent film era and the front cover
bares the image of the star of the silver screen Mary Pickford and whom the powers that be gave
total permission for the band to use That’s an amazing achievement in itself This band like many
whom I review I have seen live and they just control that stage Really blazing
live show indeed so if you want fun then seriously book these guys Love all the
members of this band as they just do it for me This single rocks and if you like
your B movie horror rock then this should be for you It's just darn good music
